Vartex

A balanced mixture of solvents specifically intended for the removal of stickers and adhesives (residue) in a sustainable way. Developed for the removal of (temporarily) lettering from road signs.

General description

Due to intensive research a product is developed in which the balance is found between a powerful and effective application, quick of residueless drying, safe materials for user and substrate. Besides the removal of adhesives Vartex can also be used for various degreasing purposes.

Problem

  • adhesives on road signs
  • remains of ink
  • remains of tectyl and bitumen
  • resins and glues
  • contaminated engines
  • non-cured PUR foam
  • contaminated tools
  • remains of tectyl and bitumen
  • contaminated chains
  • contaminated bearings
  • contaminated filters
  • brake cleaner

The solution

Vartex is the solution for working conditions that need to be done fast and with high care. In practise, these conditions occur when it is necessary to clean the surface without residues. For example if stickers should be removed from road signs and must be re-pasted. Vartex is the safe replacement for trichloroethylene refined petrol, acetone, thinners, brake cleaners, etc.

Special advantages

  • Vartex is practically odourless
  • Vartex is pleasant and safe in use
  • Vartex has a natural base
  • Vartex is fast in use due to quick evaporation
  • Vartex does not contain chlorinated hydrocarbons such as methylene chloride, 1.1.1 trichloroethylene etc.
  • Vartex degreases sublimely and leaves no residue
  • Vartex is health- environmentally- and material friendly (see remarks)
  • Vartex can be safely used on all metals and most synthetic materials and coatings (see remarks)

The application

  • removing sticker and glue residues
  • cleaning/ degreasing parts and tools
  • cleaning/ degreasing ball-bearings, chains and conveyor-belts
  • degreasing metals and synthetic materials(first test for resistance)
  • removing bitumen film from machines, clothing, bollards, traffic signs, carpet
  • cleaning filters
  • removing graffiti

Remarks

Do not spray in open fire and keep away from ignition sources. May affect certain rubbers, (reflecting) coatings and synthetic materials. If in doubt, first test on a less visible place. The last remnants can be removed with a (damp) cloth.

Working method

Vartex is to be used neat. Vartex can be used by spraying, by using a cloth, brushing or plunging.

  • Spraying: turn the nozzle so far apart that a jet stream is created. Spray directly on the object that is to be cleaned. Leave to soak. Remove remains with a cloth or rinse with water or air-pressure.
  • Plunging: plunge the object in Vartex. Leave to soak. Take out the object, let it drip out and rinse with water or blow dry with air-pressure
  • Dry with a cloth, air circulation, air-pressure or natural drying
  • Cleaning can be supported with a brush or a cloth. When you use a cloth in combination with Vartex then you prevent spraying which is more economical.

Packing

Eco-Point International products are packed in polyethylene H.D. or metal drums. When repeat orders are being delivered, used drums which are empty and not polluted are collected free of charge for recycling or reconditioning purposes. When incinerated, polyethylene has no harmful effect on the environment.

Eco-Point sprayers are made of PE: light weight, little raw material per bottle, low production energy consumption, virtually unbreakable and therefore long life, little waste during production and recycling, no harmful substances when incinerated, 100% recyclable. These sprayers have wide footing to improve stability and a handy graduation to simplify using.
